1. Drink water. Increase water intake 24 hours prior session.
2. No food. Avoid food 2 hours before session. Especially food with sugar in this context includes carbohydrates, natural sugars (fruits, alcohol, etc.), and refined sugars.
3. No Workout. Avoid exercise 2-3 hours before session. It will be harder to effectively cool the body if you come straight from a heavy workout.
1. Drink lots of water daily. A minimum of 2 litres every 24 hours. This will support your lymphatic system in eradicating the fat.
2. Avoid. Avoid all sugar for 8 hours after your session. The reason for this is that the cold weakens and retracts the adipocyte (fat storage cell). Consuming sugars may return immediate energy to these sells, thus interrupting the process and making it less efficient. Also try to avoid alcohol for at least 4 weeks and keep caffeine intake to a minimum. Caffeine affects the kidneys’ ability to process the released fat.
3. Stay Active. Daily movement is key to maximizing your results. After your session, keep your circulation active with exercise or a brisk 30-minute walk to help your lymphatic system clear released fat and fluids. If you’re less active, a 40-minute Ballancer Pro session is an excellent way to boost blood flow and stimulate lymphatic drainage. On non-Contour days, regular Infrared Sauna sessions further support circulation, recovery, and detoxification—helping you maintain smoother, more refined results over time.

Our spa technician will first discuss your desired goals and any areas you would like to focus on. The Arctic Contour session itself is not painful. It is similar to getting an ultrasound; gel is applied to the treatment area and the applicator glides over the area and emits cold and heat, which often feels like an “ice massage” or “hot stone massage.”
There are generally no side effects apart from the amount you urinate to increase slightly over the 3 days following the treatment along with the appearance of your urine in color. In some cases there is localized redness that disappears after a few hours and in rare cases there is local pain that does not exceed 2 to 3 hours.
The Arctic Contour device is very safe. The cooling system is controlled by an electronic temperature sensor located in the processing head of the device and the temperature is controlled in real time by the machine and temperature is displayed on the screen.
Sessions are also safe and non-invasive. There is no down-time after sessions, and many clients may book appointments immediately before a workout.
It’s best to wait one week after these sessions to make sure the treated areas are fully healed and bodily fluid won’t get on the wand.
The Arctic Contour slimming fat freezing sessions can be performed once every 10 days. There is a physiological reason for this: when apoptosis occurs and some fat cells die, waste is formed. This will be eliminated by natural routes (blood, lymphatic system and urine). Metabolism must therefore be allowed to evacuate this waste without overloading the system.
The Arctic Contour Toning sessions can be performed once every week.
The first results are generally visible from the first session and often encouraging. However, it should be noted: the best results appear from 15 days to 3 weeks after the start of treatment and extend for several months after the end of treatment.
The success of a treatment varies from person to person. Those clients who are already living a healthy lifestyle, have reported to have better results at keeping the fat off. However, the fat CAN return IF you are not working to keep from gaining weight.
WHAT TO WEAR
Depending on the location of service, we provide wraps and blankets. However, we ask that you dress in comfortable clothing. We suggest sports bra and sweats, yoga pants or joggers – items that if a little water soluble gel were to come into contact with the clothing, you would not mind. Keep in mind these sessions are from 30 minutes to an hour and half depending on the location and selected protocol.
An Arctic Contour session is completely non-surgical,
